Narrow detection zone. Frequency 24 GHz

1. PURPOSE

The purpose of local protective microwave detectors of „FMC 24 (100m)“,  „FMC 24 (200m)“, „FMC 24 (300m)“, families (hereinafter referred to as the detector) is to protect perimeter sectors of different sites and generate the alarm the intruder cross the detector detection zone.


 

2. GENERAL INFORMATION

2.1. The detector is a bistatic microwave detector consisting of a transmitter and a receiver.
2.2. The principle of the detector operation is to generate an electromagnetic field in the space between a transmitter and a receiver. The field forms a volumetric detection zone in the form of a stretched ellipsoid of rotation and registers the changes of this field when an intruder crosses a detection zone.

2.3. Detectors set consist: Receiver and Transmitter; Mounting kit including bracket – 2 pcs., buckle – 4 pcs.; Kit of tools and accessories including screwdriver, spanner 8x10; User manual and USB flash drive with software and additional information.

3. DISTINCTIVE FEATURE

  • Interference or environmental visualization and analysis in (vegetation, animals, car, etc.);

3.6. The detector is immune to the influence of strong electromagnetic fields (power lines up to 500 kV).
3.7. The detector can detect a crawling intruder in case of special preparation of a sterial zone and sensitivity adjustment.

4. SPECIFICATIONS
4.1. The length of a detection zone of the detectors:
  • FORTEZA FMC 24 (100m) - from 5 m. up to 100 m.;
  • FORTEZA FMC 24 (200m) - from 10 m. up to 200 m.;
  • FORTEZA FMC 24 (300m) - from 10 m. up to 300 m..

4.2. The maximum widths/heights  of a detection zones are:

4.3. The detector generates alarms when:
  • a person crosses a detection zone at a speed of 0,1…10m/sec.;
  • supply voltage is below normal one;
  • there is an attempt to mask a receiving unit of the detector;
  • there is an attempt to demount the detector;
  • the detector units are out of order.
4.4. The sensor doesn’t generate false alarms at:
  • rain,
  • snow,
  • thick fog;
  • solar radiation;
  • wind speed up to 30 m/sec;
  • objects moving with the linear dimensions up to 0,2 m (birds or small animals);
  • irregularities up to ± 0,3 m;
  • snow up to 0,5 m (without additional adjustment);
  • grass up to 0,3 m;
  • the influence of ultra-short waves emissions of the range 150-175 MHz and the power up to 40 W at the distance 6 m maximum.

 

4.5. Probability of detection is 0,98 minimum.
4.6. The detector supply voltage is 9…30 VDC.
4.7. Maximum consumption current is 0,45 mA.
4.8. Maximum time of availability for operation is 30 sec. after power supply is ON.
4.9. Minimum time of an alarm is 3 sec.
4.10. Warm up time after alarm message up to 10 sec.
4.11. Alarm contact loading capacity 30 Vdc @ 0.1 A
4.12. Detection speed 0.1...10m/s.
4.13. Dry relay contacts 100 Ohm
4.14. Leak proof class IP-55.
